Phillip C. Payne
Owner | RPLS
Mr. Payne has 24 years of experience in land surveying and specializes in municipal work, surveying for universities, topographic surveying for engineering design, oil & gas surveying, and boundary surveying. Mr. Payne has completed projects for Texas State University, the City of San Marcos, the City of Seguin, the City of Caldwell, the Town of Pecos City, Burleson County, Hays County, Martindale Water Supply Corporation and numerous Oil & Gas Operating Companies. He was an adjunct professor for Texas State University and served the construction and land surveying industries through educating future professionals for the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Engineering Technology. He is responsible for contractual matters and high-level surveying consultation.

Mr. Buehler manages the back office side of Payne Industries, LLC, and handles HR, AR, AP, and Equipment Management. He also is a certified Drone Pilot and flies Payne Industries top of the line LiDAR drone.
Loren Brownell
PROJECT MANAGER RPLS
Professional Land Surveyor for the States of Texas, Washington, North Dakota and Oklahoma
Mr. Brownell has 15 years of experience in the survey profession. He has worked in several states including Texas, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Minnesota and Iowa. He has had substantial experience with boundary and construction surveying.

Payne Industries has been servicing the land survey and mapping needs of Texas for nearly a decade. Founded in 2012, our firm is a turn-key organization that can handle your projects from start to finish. This is the result of being intentionally modeled to scale with whatever project you need. Our crews are cross-trained to perform multiple tasks in many surveying disciplines. Each field member can individually perform all work-related functions assigned to their position as well as each those that reports to them. This means that no matter what your job is calling for, Payne Industries can create and collapse additional crews as needed to ensure the job is done accurately, timely, and in a professional manner.
